Learning to Sail Lasers
Vaucluse Yacht Club offers ‘Learn to sail a Laser’ programs, allowing those with some prior sailing experience the opportunity to learn how to sail and eventually race Lasers commencing with an introductory 5-week course guided by experienced coaches. We run a Ladies only course as well which has become hugely popular with ladies with some yachting experience who are keen to get experience sailing a dinghy
The course covers a range of areas such as boat setup, capsizing, wind direction, sail trim, mark rounding, race starts, tactics and boat handling.
We also run Advanced Laser Racing clinics with world renowned Laser coaches.
We’ll be announcing the 2024/2025 program soon! Be sure to register your interest below. We will let you know when the next courses are scheduled"
